About Hypnosis:
There are many myths and misconceptions about hypnosis though, in fact, everyone is in and out of hypnosis many times every day. When you are so engrossed in a project that you lose all track of time - you’ve been hypnotized. When you arrive at your destination and can’t remember passing a familiar landmark – you’ve been hypnotized.
Used in a therapeutic setting, hypnosis is a partnership between the client and the hypnotherapist to create an altered state of consciousness where the client becomes more open to suggestions for their well being. In this highly focused state of concentration a client can replace limiting or negative beliefs with positive suggestions and new ideas to manage a wide variety of issues from pain control to the fear of flying.
